They then came back to install a drainage, sump-pump and backwater valve. MT Drains installed a water softener and water filter at my house. The install was quick and they showed me how to use the equipment. I like the fact they separated the waterline that I use to water my lawn so I don't pour softener water into the ground! The equipment is great and very quite. I hear a lot of people complain about the taste of the water comes out from the water filter, all I can say my kitchen filtered water tastes great and we drink it all the time. If you live north of the city I definitely recommend getting a water softener and filter! the difference is very noticeable!

We had a pipe leaking just before the water meter and main shut off. It was an emergency repair because we were unable to turn off the water to stop the leak. The company was extremely responsive, booked an appointment for the same afternoon and sent a follow up email to confirm. The plumber showed up on time and was very skilled and competent. Plumbing work was excellent. Billing practices less so. On viewing the pipe they quoted $600 to do the repair. I agreed because it was Friday afternoon at 2:30 and with a leak in progress didn't feel I had the luxury to shop around. Definitely felt gouged. The repair took 30 minutes and couldn't have used more than $50 in parts. Would definitely recommend for non emergency repairs when you can get competitive quote but would recommend caution for urgent repairs due to price gouging
