    Kitchen Drain Cleaning
Kitchen drains are the hardest-working drains in the home. Every day, we wash dishes or sanitize food in them, making a kitchen drain blockage very likely.

If you have a kitchen drain pipe clogged by food scraps, grease, or oil, MT Drains and Plumbing can eliminate the blockage and get your clogged kitchen drains working efficiently again.

Our team will use a drain snake or mini hydro-jetting equipment to tackle light obstructions quickly. We can also schedule camera inspections to locate tough, hard-to-reach blockages and promptly clear the clogged sink drain with powerful drain augers or hydro-jetting equipment.

    Bathroom Drain Cleaning
Another problem area in residential plumbing systems is bathroom drains. When we shower, soap scum, grease, chemical products, and hair can cause a clogged drain. If not fixed promptly, the drain blockage can become more severe.

An excellent way to prevent hair-clogged drains in the bathroom is to use a drain strainer or protector that catches all the soap scum and hair that accumulates after a shower. However, in severely clogged bathroom drains, our plumbers can use a mechanized drain auger to get rid of the problem quickly.

A backwater valve prevents sewer drains from overflowing, which eliminates the sewer backflow into your home that causes basement flooding.

I would like to sincerely thank MT Drain Plumbing for the excellent work they did. The entire team was professional, punctual, courteous, and very respectful throughout the process. Everything was well organized and completed on time. I especially appreciated how carefully they protected the surrounding areas and contained everything to prevent dirt, debris, or other materials from getting where they shouldn’t. The work was completed quickly, efficiently, and to a very high standard. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price — it was significantly lower than the quotes I received from other companies, which made the experience even better. I would also like to mention that the team members who came out to assess and discuss the work with me were extremely polite, professional, and punctual. I highly recommend MT Drain Plumbing to anyone dealing with waterproofing issues, drainage problems, or water management around their home. If you’re looking for a company that provides quality work, fair pricing, and excellent customer service, I definitely recommend giving these guys a call. Thank you again to the entire MT Drain Plumbing team for a job very well done!

Update on August 24 2026: We needed to replace a shower cartridge and it turned out that we also needed to replace our main house water supply shut off valve before the shower job could be done. Olga in the office was very helpful in scheduling the job as well as in dealing with our municipality who needed to be involved as well. When Denis the technician arrived to do the job - early, which I always appreciate! - he assessed the job & dealt with the municipality further to expedite the job. It also turned out that the shower cartridge was badly corroded & required Denis' expert work & his experience to remove it without damaging the fixture. (This is a job the internet says you can do yourself, but when the cartridge is very old & corroded as this was, a professional is required!) He then easily installed the new cartridge. As usual, I was impressed by the professionalism and pleasantness of MT Drains' staff, both in the office & in the field. Update on Dec 17 2024: A toilet in our house came away from the floor in a way that broke the flange it was bolted to. I called MT Drains because they had done a fine repair job in our kitchen a few months earlier (see below). Viktoriya in the office was very friendly & helpful in getting us a cost estimate in a timely fashion and setting up an appointment to fix the problem that fit our schedules. We received email confirmation and reminder of the appointment, and a text confirmation on the morning of the appointment itself. The technician, Amir, arrived a few minutes before the start of the window for the appointment, which I always appreciate a lot! He was friendly, polite and professional. He assessed the repair requirements, confirmed the estimate, and completed the job in a timely manner. Amir also cleaned up everything and even took the garbage away with him. Viktoriya followed up shortly thereafter by phone to check that we were pleased with the job, and then sent the invoice to me for the agreed amount. She also confirmed that they received our payment right away. I’ve used MT Drains’ services for plumbing issues before and will happily use them again! The drain from our kitchen sink was leaking near the place where it attached to the sink itself. The reason turned out to be corrosion that was rotting away the place where the drain pipes attach to the sink. Pavel from MT Drains responded to my Trusted Pros posting within minutes, and was able to have a plumber come that very day. Dima arrived within the agreed time frame. He was polite, friendly, efficient and very skilled at diagnosing the problem and making the repair by replacing the corroded parts. He also cleaned up after his work. Viktoriya in the office was also very helpful and professional - the entire operation was fast, efficient, effective, friendly and professional. I will definitely call on MT Drains for any future plumbing needs.

    Perfect service!

I recently had MT Drains & Plumbing Ltd replace the trench drain grate in my driveway, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Pavel and his team were professional, punctual, and highly skilled. The original grate was rusted and had become a safety hazard, but MT Drains provided a seamless replacement that looks fantastic and is incredibly durable. They handled the removal of the old grate and the installation of the new one with great care, ensuring that everything was level and properly secured. It is clear they take pride in their workmanship, as the site was left spotless upon completion. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable plumbing or drain services.

Quality service by an extremely professional team. Would highly recommend.
    Alvin H.
We were referred to MT Drains & Plumbing by our plumber as the work that needed to be done to clear our catch basin needed special equipment. They were a pleasure to deal with because: 1. Their quote was clear and comprehensive 2. The response and turnaround time from query to quote was fast 3. Olga made it easy to book an appointment 4. The team dispatched to do the job were professional, did the work and did it in less time than quoted. Overall, a professional outfit that I would recommend.
